Norfolk Renal Units

At Present there are six areas that make up our renal services.

1. The out patients departments of Norwich, Cromer and Gorleston.

Then there are

2. The Acute Renal Unit (Langley Ward)
3. The Peritoneal Dialysis & Home Haemodialysis Unit
4. The Jack Pryor Unit (Haemodialysis Unit)

which are at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, and the....

5. The  Cromer Haemodialysis Unit.....in Cromer
6. James Paget Haemodialysis Unit......at the James Paget Hospital, Gorleston.
   
   

• Another place to have haemodialysis in Norfolk is at the Mermaid Centre at the Wells Community Hospital. The Mermaid Centre for Renal Dialysis provides short term kidney haemodialysis treatment for people away from home.  The  Unit is looking into making their service available to local people needing long term haemodialysis as well.
