I suppose you are not ready for this news. And it is not news: it is as old as can be. That there is only one God. And perhaps you will claim that your God is God; and that other people's God is not.

This is addressed firstly to those who believe in God, the Abrahamic God, and after that, but by no means less important, to those who believe in something else or nothing.

Firstly for those who believe in the God of Abraham.

When we see anybody of any culture of any religion praying to the God of Abraham why do we not melt with joy? There is only one God.

In all these cultures, traditions and religions, God has made known that what He wants is mercy, not sacrifice, that the sabbath [i.e. religious law] is made for people and not people for the sabbath. Do you consider giving water to pilgrims because of self-righteousness customs and maintaining the Sacred Mosque or Church the same as believing in God and the Last Day and striving in God's path? They are not equal in God's sight. Righteousness does not consist of turning your faces towards the East and the West or mouthing prayers. But righteous is he who believes in God, and the Last Day, and the angels, and the Scripture, and the prophets; and who is good to parents, and relatives, and orphans, and the needy; and who speaks nicely to people; and prays regularly, and gives alms.

Your traditions, customs; are you the one who makes these more important than God's message to us? Is it right that you associate anything with God? God is above traditions and customs! That we Worship none but God, not traditions; and that we be good to parents, and relatives, and orphans, and the needy; and speak nicely to people; and pray regularly, and give alms. This is God's Will. Where did you pick up that you should hate and kill to preserve your way of doing things? And then call this God's will?

Are not Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Mohammed in heaven? Is not God the God of the living? Do you think they fight? Do you think that any of them have hate for each other or for the Jews or for the Christians or for the Muslims or for any human? Do they not have tears of joy for the Love of God? And would they not fall on their knees in tearful happiness together and embrace because of their Love of God? You say there is one God, and this is true, but does this not mean that He is the God of all people whatever their religion or belief or actions? These others might put their faith in fake gods, but God remains their God whether they know this or not. And does not God Love them too?

Is it not so that those who believe, those who are Jewish, and Christian, and Sabean, any who believe in God and the Last Day, and act righteously will have their reward with their Lord and they have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve? Do you say otherwise?

Do you say that there should be compulsion in religion?: Has not God said that there shall be no compulsion in religion? And is it not also said that the right way has become distinct from the wrong way. And that whoever renounces evil and believes in God has grasped the most trustworthy handle, which does not break. God is Hearing and Knowing. God is the Lord of those who believe; He brings them out of darkness and into light.

You fight about if Jesus is God or not. But what do you know of God and what limitations do you put upon God? Look at what Jesus did. Did he act apart from God's Will? Did not God strengthen Jesus with the Holy Spirit? Christians and Muslims; did not the Angels say, "O Mary, God gives you good news of a Word from Him. His name is the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, well-esteemed in this world and the next, and one of the nearest. He will speak to the people from the crib, and in adulthood, and will be one of the righteous." She said, "My Lord, how can I have a child, when no man has touched me?" He said, "It will be so. God creates whatever He wills. To have anything done, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is." And He will teach him the Scripture and wisdom, and the Torah and the Gospel?

Jews; did Jesus break God's will or was it just traditions of the time that he broke according to some people of that time? Look at his life. Even if one says he wasn't crucified, did Jesus do things that deserved crucifixion? Was his message from God or from man? And what was his message? Did Jesus not say that you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets.

God is saying continually that we should Love Him and Love our neighbour. What is God? God is Truth and Love. So let us put This before all our customs and traditions which, no matter how old or beautiful in our eyes, are only man's way of remembering God, Whose first command is that we Love each other.

So if any person prays to the God of Abraham, and puts God first in their lives and loves their neighbour, from any culture or tradition, let us kneel or bow with them to God in joy.

As Christians and Muslims let us Love the Jews, God's chosen, because God chose them to first reveal Himself. As Jews, let us love the Christians and Muslims and all who believe in the Abrahamic God, because they have been called to worship the One True God.

Or are you still of those people who will readily find any excuse not to Love, and prefer to hate, to find discord, to separate and so to follow Satan who is the trickster?

God's message is Love. If it was not, why would we seek refuge in Him?

“Love God and do whatever you please: for the soul trained in love to God will do nothing to offend the One who is Beloved.”

Now to those who believe in something else or nothing.

May Truth and Love be with you.

God has not made Himself known to you but to others. And you know that many of those who claim to know God have shown you the most appalling witness to Truth and Love.

Judaism, Christianity and Islam, though proclaiming they have the true insight into Love and Truth have practised greed, lust, hate, envy, slothfulness, gluttony and wrath throughout the ages.

Sorry. Yet your pain is yours to deal with, not another's, regardless if they caused the pain. Lies are lies. Accept, forgive, move on. Forgivness is as much for your sake as for those you forgive. If you choose not to forgive, you die. Love accepts the pain.

Wiping away all the lies, the simply message remains as important as ever. We are loved.

In a world with so much uncertainty, loss of identity, fear, lack of self-respect or worth, and mental illness, we need this Love. Unconditional Love.
We know that things are wrong, and we need forgiveness and acceptance and this Love. So let not the bad behaviour of those who claim to know God be a stumbling block for you who seek Truth and Love.
Yet there is no empirical evidence for the existence of God, so why God?

Look at the world and you will agree we need Love. Not a naive hippy love, but one that helps, respects and does not seek out the seven deadly sins to live by as mentioned above.

We need that Love and where will you find it? My message is that...

as you won't find any proof of God's existence, neither will you find the Love needed unless you put your faith in God.

It is faith, not knowledge. Yet faith does give understanding.

So why put faith in God? Perhaps think instead; why put faith in Love. And one would do this because one would know Love to be true. The true way to behave. For the opposite is to not to forgive and to hate or abuse. So this is what you're putting your faith in. But you can't find the strength to do this although your heart tells you this is true. Perhaps you think that because others don't put their faith in Love (although deep down they know this to be true) why should you? Well perhaps because you do not also want to be weak and selfish, petty and small? To take from others to fill yourself? Perhaps you do not have the courage to Love? Why should you? You need reason and purpose to have this courage. So perhaps quietly you can accept that Love is the right thing but you can't live this yourself. After all, is it not so that you would like others to treat you with respect and love, rather than others to abuse, hate and take from you or your family and loved ones? So we could agree that Love is the answer to our human problems, but it's just too hard to do, and the consequences of not doing we just accept - e.g. wars, abuse, hate, fear. Does this sound silly; but these are the consequences. Yet you still lack the courage and strength to Love. So you accept that the only real hope for humankind is beyond the strength and courage of humankind, and hate and selfishness, pride, lust and greed prevail. You've heard that the only way to achieve the strength and courage to Love is to put your faith in God, but to you this sounds stupid - 'there is no proof of God.' But I say put your faith in what you truly see to be the right way to behave - Love - and so decide to put your 'faith' in God for the strength and courage to actually Love. This world will pass, you know this. Your life will pass, you know this. God's Love is eternal. Really, what do you have to lose? Your wordly gains on this earth are so temporal. Can't you see anything within yourself that is infinitely greater? Don't be content with what this transient world has to offer, don't short change yourself, don't be small and petty: Know yourself and see the beauty within.

When you're thinking how silly it is to put your faith in God, remember that you are putting your faith in Love and Truth. And think of God as Love and Truth.

So can you simply accept the Love of God to heal you and your loved ones? To give you purpose and a sense of belonging, a sense of self worth and hope, which can carry you beyond the grave? Love 'Truth and Love' first, and with this determination Love your neighbour, choosing to make Love and Truth your supreme value to live by. And journey this path to greater knowledge of Truth and Love and so of God. The mentally ill need this Love. God is not wrong, the noise about God is. Know that as you walk on this earth you are known and loved and that you will find happiness and joy in knowing and loving. This is the point of doing it. And the other reason for doing it is that you will find misery in making greed, lust, hate, envy, slothfulness, gluttony and wrath your chosen way to behave. It is so very simple. It is not about punishment, it is about Love.

“Love 'Truth & Love' and do whatever you please: for the soul trained in love to 'Truth & Love' will do nothing to offend 'Truth & Love'.”

And who am I to say all this? I am a sinner. Sanctified with God, nothing without God.
